Syndicate Sales Launches Tennessee Clay to Pioneer U.S. Ceramic Manufacturing with Sustainability at Its Core
Tennessee Clay, a newly launched line of premium ceramic containers from Syndicate Sales, is proud to call Tennessee home—and even prouder to bring large-scale ceramic manufacturing to American soil. Produced in a highly automated facility in McKenzie, Tennessee Clay is the only operation of its kind in the U.S. manufacturing ceramic pots at scale.
By combining regional pride, sustainability, innovative design, and a deep respect for both people and the environment, Tennessee Clay offers an elegant, eco-conscious addition to the Syndicate product offering. The clay is sustainably and responsibly mined, and sourced just ten miles from the factory, significantly reducing the carbon footprint of transportation.
They are using new energy-efficient equipment that meets the latest industry standards, ensuring minimal energy consumption throughout production. Additionally, metal renewable molds are employed instead of traditional plaster molds, reducing waste, and extending the lifecycle of tools.
While many ceramics are imported, Tennessee Clay offers something different: modern, design-forward planters crafted with locally sourced clay and fired in a high-tech facility that’s unlike anything else in the country. The result is a product that blends innovation, craftsmanship, and American pride—bringing jobs, design inspiration, and a renewed sense of possibility to the Tennessee manufacturing landscape.
The unfired clay is recyclable, while fired pots can be ground down and reused in ceramic tile production locally. They are also proud to operate well below EPA emission limits, ensuring that the production process is as clean as it is efficient.

The initial launch includes five distinct collections. From clean-lined silhouettes to softly textured finishes, the line balances timeless form with contemporary appeal.
“We believe people care about where products come from, and Tennessee Clay offers a story retailers and consumers can appreciate,” says Kristin Richards, Vice President of Marketing at Syndicate Sales. “This facility is unique and reflects our commitment to U.S. innovation and supporting local communities.”
